There are two methods for upgrading the firmware for the HP Digital
Copy.

• If you are using any of the Digital Sender Module Services
  (Scan to Email, LanFax, or NT Authentication) with the Mopier
  240/­320 or LaserJet 8000/­8100 MFP, you will need to download
  firmwareusing the Digital Sender Module 2.3 software. Use of the
  DOS parallel upgrade or the HP Resource-Manager Upgrade will break
  the digital sending connection,

• This version of Resource Manager supports Windows 95, Windows
  98, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.


• If you are using any of the Digital Sender Module Services
  (Scan to Email, LanFax, or NT Authentication) with the Mopier
  240/­320 or LaserJet 8000/­8100 MFP, you will need to download
  firmwareusing the Digital Sender Module 2.3 software. Use of the

  software require licenses that may be purchased from an authorized
